Blues Guitar Lesson Based On The Song Crossroad (Cream-Eric Clapton)

Posted on: April 16, 2018 By: Alex

This is a guitar lesson on how to play the intro of “Crossroads” (Cream – Eric Clapton)

THE FOCUS OF THIS GUITAR LESSON:

Playing hybrid picking rhythm guitar at a fast pace.

ABILITY RATING:

Moderate to advanced.

WILL IMPROVE YOUR:

Hybrid picking - blues lick-bag and rhythm.

This Song is based on a 12 Bar Blues in A. The main Riff is quite straightforward but the up-tempo and the end of the turnaround makes this piece a bit tricky to play. My tip: practise at a very slow tempo and when you feel comfortable increase the speed progressively.
